In our Virus Scanning/Removal service, we will:

1. Test the health of your hard drive.  This is your DATA, Pics, Documents and so on. It is the most important thing.

2. Install anti-virus/anti-spyware software on your system. (Your Choice)

3. Update it with the latest updates. (called "definitions")

4. Run Several full scans of our software on your system to detect and then remove all found malware.

5. Run a final scan to make sure your system is clean.

6. Set the software to check for updates of its definitions on a regular basis.

 

Malicious software is constantly evolving, so no computer can ever be perfectly protected against infection. But if your anti-virus/anti-spyware software is properly configured and doing its work, you've taken the biggest step in protection.
